The cotton yarn is both hand spun and handwoven in this textile. The nature of this fabric has inherent irregularities that cause the pigment in the printmaking process to not apply fully in the areas that have minor inconsistencies. We don't consider these defects, simply a by product of textiles that are crafted entirely by hand.
